Making Films In Hawaii....

So it's been a year since I arrived in Hawaii.. Well just a little bit more then that, as i got here on September 2nd 2009.. I must say I have never seen a more beautiful place in my life. To set sights on real mountain ranges the size of New York skyscrapers, is truly a experience. Which is part of the reason I moved to Hawaii, was to experience something different for once in my life. A new place, people, ect.. I must admit I got a lot more then I bargained for coming here. Some of it good and some of it bad, well not bad just disappointing.



I arrived here, hoping to continue my film career and produce a film out here in Hawaii. Which I felt would really change up my reel. It took me a while to get things going but I finally started to get out there and meet people and see if I could do this thing here, having to start from scratch. So that's what I did, I put up a casting notice on Craigslist and start my search for acting talent.. Which to my surprised the pickings was slim, very slim.. Oh boy, i thought what have a i gotten myself into. I been to other place before trying to do things productive, in college it was Ohio, then Florida. The only place where it really pops off is New York City. I can get so much done there, it's crazy.. Like they say if you can make it in New York City you can make it anywhere...
