Ok, so here's the deal.. We're casting for The Wild Will Show, I go though the basics and submit my call too CL and get a few responses. Funny thing is as I am sending out the invites for the auditions I start getting people who I would like to have audition, decline or reject.. I say this is funny, because no I am not meeting at Star Bucks or the public library. Don't ask!!! We are holding these audition at a very selective location which is in Manhattan and is the hub for all the major projects... So anyway without even hearing the project or the script they just say shit like I am not interested in auditions.. WTF!!!! Who are these people??? It's crazy in NYC, the talent here have some serious issues. I mean if you get that many auditions then why are you on CL anyway!!! LOL...

I am a serious film maker and if you're a serious actor then you know that audition is part of your life. No job, boyfriend, or racial preference too who you want to work with can or should stop you.. I don't understand... I mean it's bad enough already, I got perfect nobodies asking me for money, this isn't a nine to five. It's really sad, but truth of it is you're never going to get any where and you just burned one bridge. For your sake, you better pray I don't become a VIP and your name comes across me cause you will be ejected so quick when you feel like I am worth your time. I will throw you out myself and not even call security, you think Simon is bad.. LOL!!!!! Truly, for some odd reason, it's the females who act like this.. The males aren't a problem, they never bring their girlfriend to the auditions, why is that??? No answer that for me I am asking a question!!!!! They never have last minute b.s excuses and I mean b.s like two people on the sameday, having deaths in the family or being sick or getting last minute paying jobs, like really two hours before we are supposed too shoot or audition.. R U kidding me.. I made my first film on the morning of a death in the family.. Yeah Iam die hard..

I hear so many excuse, that I am even calling people out on them, but you know the one that I really would respect is, "Look Iam not really trying too be anything, I have a fame fetish and I am really just a scared no talent flake, I was under the impression that this was just a hustle for me, I had no ideal it would be real shit for me too live up too.." Mainly too plant the seed that would be The Wild Will Show today.. I was just a homeless cameraman back then, with a brand new Canon GL-1.. Hott shit at the time!!! I had been back only a few days and I was walking around NYC when I meet these Hip Hop group called Duo Live on West 4th, selling their Cd's.. I offer my services as a cameraman too make there video and one week later we shot it.. The rest is history as they say. I am surprised too see they still have it up and I am proud too see them continue to stay successful and grow far from west 4th street.. So here it is, my first music video, called Da Spot.. It's based on New Jack City.. I shot the whole thing in one day and man afterwards I sleep for 2 days.. LOW PAY OF NO PAY..... The debate on Paying production crew, ect...

So here's the skinny, on this new debate about paying production crew.. As you know Criags List has become the new hub for searching and finding production crew for your indy film, ect.. In their genius, they added two selections at the end of their posting form. (No Pay or Pay). Now for everyone in New York who thinks they're George Lucas or super talented and just have too ger paid for gaining experence and build their reel.. In my opinion, just working on a few nobodies ever going too see film projects or shorts doesn't, make you deserving of a paycheck. Most of these guys who want too get paid are mediocre. They show up late and just don't give a fuck cause all they want is the quick buck. They don't respect the effort of the indy project but what too eat of it. They have no credits and most of the time no equipment. So there's a ever growing debate on gettig paid too just know some modest things. The following is a conversation I had with one poster on CL. This is what one poster wrote.

The only time I work for something less than a paycheck is for barter. I never ask anyone to work on my productions for low pay unless they are interested in the project and understand that I am willing to help them out equally in the future.The posts i'm referring to were very specific about wanting a professional, but also being very rude about it. It is my understanding that many of the people posting these, aren't aware of what a "professional" usually makes. So they state a lower pay rate. I was simply stating that I don't see this type of ignorance about the industry is LA. The people here are actually hurting themselves by taking a pay cut and working for people who are not professional in the least. I'm a born and bred new yorker, went to school here and have been getting great gigs in LA, and some awesome stuff here. I don't have debt. So i'm not complaining. I just think its really sad that NY needs a union, and LA doesn't.

So when someone says too me they need money, being a Film producer I think this guys behind on his rent, because if the work is the shit*** Believe you me I will pay for it even if I have too rob, steal and kill.. It's nothing against you, but please have a demo reel and of some really hott shit, no stuff you did in school and some professional references, a website helps too.. Please don't be asking for payment, full or partial up front.. I like too trust everybody, but no one yet has given me any work who I paid upfront. Just show people that your are professional and not just trying too make a quick buck and you will get paid.. What you feel you should or command. This isn't a gentlemen's club I am not hear out of desperation, I am hear too do great work and hire the people too help me do that.. You know.. This the project I might just be making my bones on... Now that's now the actually cast, but they do look good. No the whole story behind this T.V Pilot starts with a year long ordeal and man believe me it wasn't easy....

Ok, so it all began when my business associate, referred me to his friend for a writing job. He had a ideal for a script and was looking for a writer. More importantly one who wasn't that expensive. So yes this is my first professional writing job. Well it was a Tuesday in January 2007, we had a meeting set up which I was late for. I had a long day and it was about too get longer, then again how many other chances do you get too make a nice sum of money after hours for just showing up... Now I have too keep the concept under warps as the show is being pitched too major T.V networks and such. So the money was right and he paid me upfront $4,000.. Which is very nice too write a T.V pilot episode. So I interviewed him and took down his notes and after that I got too work.. Boy was I excited, here I made $4,000 all on a Tuesday afternoon, ok so this is my first writing job too... So Iam more focused on keeping my deadline and not getting that god awful writers block... There I was, with nothing but one hell of a incentive too bust my ass and let me tell you that's what I did. Two weeks later, I delivered one hell of a script, at least I didn't think so, but soon everyone was buzzing about. My business associate even thought it was good enough for us to make our selves. That's when the real fun began!!!

Well I've been gone for a while and now I have finally returned. 2008 was good, but now it's 2009 and while I admit I slacked off a hugh lot!!!!! I won't be doing it again,in my defense, lets just say that everyone sucks and I am the only one who really cares about doing this. Hint: I am looking to make new friends in the business and add more fans... But really I needed the time to really define the brand.
