You are going to tell me who I AM....
I am so disgusted with hearing from everyone who they think I am. They not directly saying it to me, but they seem to just lump all Black Men together with their comments. The worst of them, Black Women ironically.. The fact is, the Black Women fears a responsible Black Man the most. He represents the image of their father to much. Who in most instances left them and their mother, so they have a natural resentment towards that image. You are not going to tell me who I am!!! Especially since you can't give me the common respect of sitting down with me and asking a few question about my life and how I see the world.

HAWAII HIP HOP (The Good, Bad, Ugly)
You know as Black People (Africans, who have been colonized in America), we are raised to not allow any injustice we face, to be hidden under embarrassment, fear or shame. A long time ago, someone told me that the entertainment business, with the exception of the military was the most racist formal organization ever created in America. In both as many strides that have been made, there still remains much work to be done.
Three years ago before moving to Honolulu, Hawaii. The first thing I did, was a search for information, about the background of this place. What it was like to live, work and general things to do. During my search I didn't find much and what I did find was the basic fluff. So coming here I was completely blind, but I don't fear the unknown. I like to challenge myself to own, that which is not familiar to me. I mean I've been all types of places, Ohio, Florida, South Carolina and most importantly, my home city of Staten Island, which is a adventure in it self. Like any Man of the world, I seek to continue pursuits of successful endeavours, no matter where I am at. This is the right of any Man, created under nature.
Now for the whole story....
I never really intended to get too involved with anything here. I found it all so tainted and placid, maybe these people smoke a lot of weed I thought, maybe they just don't care about anything cause they have nothing, or they just bored to death for so long, they forget what it was like to be excited. Out of respect for a friend. I offered to help her out with her musical friend, Merc Majah. She had already been giving him, small kine accolades about his music, on her facebook. Which she received much hate over it. I thought she gets treated unfair, because she's one of the baddest bitches, on this pile of ashes. Plus she plays her own game! So I stood up for her and she ask me to help him out. I did just that.
Never in all of my endeavours and pursuits of business, have I ever experienced anything, like I have while living in Honolulu Hawaii, for the last three years. Let me start by saying this, the whole place is RACIST. Not really just racist in a privilege sense, but racist towards Black People mainly. Don't misunderstand it for there being isolated, all their life in the middle of nowhere. I know we stereotype and scrape goat the South and some parts of the Midwest, but Honolulu Hawaii takes the prize hands down. I can't start to tell you how much a ordeal, it is just to buy simple groceries on even given day. So with out much ado, I will share with you a brevity, of what Honolulu Hawaii is like from my P.O.V.... I hope to other Black people arriving here FOJ (fresh off the jet) that this is a hopeful guide.
Lets start with the obvious! Black culture is the top desired culture in the world right now. Our music, lifestyle, thoughts, struggle, which is our strength and talent is omnipotent. It's like cat nip, to these people of other races. They say it, "Hawaii Hip Hop". It's really "Hip Hop", in Hawaii! While not being taken to seriously by the majority of the population, who have adapted a more subtle liken for "Jawaiian" music. Influenced by what they are bombarded with daily, from the mainland. Many have adapted Hip Hop as their faux voice. Mostly as a way to sway attention, towards their boring selves in order to seem cooler. Which really means to get pussy, from the females here who are overly infatuated with Hip Hop. So the whole culture here is made up of a bunch of poser and fakes.
These people, rely solely on playing themselves off, as being more self important then required. Pushing more of their persona and reputation then their music. Which to serious Hip Hop ears, sounds like the same phoniness of it's creators. With the tone being, "stay humble!" While one can ride around and read bumper stickers, on the back of locals trucks that read, "Grown here, you flew here", "Defend Hawaii", "For locals only". One can obviously see the contradiction of this place in play. With that "Be Humble" shit! The only real Hip Hop culture comes from the transplants, who arrive here. Be they of military background or just travelers like myself, looking for somewhere decent to reside. For those artist, they encounter a very closed and icy reception. It's almost amazing, any get involved at all. The local rappers who number in the hundreds, running it like a small drug block. Locking out any real competition, self proclaiming themselves a authority, while not ever having left the state, for a time to learn anything else, but what they picked up from each other or T.V videos. On top of hijacking a culture created by the same Black Men, who's daughters they won't let date and a people they have a general disliking for.
So today, we are at this point. Merc Majah is the #1 rapper in Hawaii. (per. Reverbation charts) A fact to which he's peers can't stand at all. Everyday they get more time on facebook, then in the studio. Realize how long, they've been here and have just been shitting on themselves. Now they mad at someone who made it. They've made a enemy out of me, just for being stupid. I can't really imagine how anyone of basic intelligence can make the claims they have. I give'em credit for being the most delusional bunch I've every met. Now it all makes since to me. I not giving them any free game. I will enjoy watching them fall down flat on their swollen ego faces.

I am so glad I don't have to sit in anymore cattle call auditions.. LOL
So, you want to go to Hollywood and
become an actor… Yeah, you and a billion other people from every
corner of the globe.
Everyday, the MOST talented and LEAST
talented people on earth make the sojourn to Los Angeles to "give
it a shot." There are about 500,000 people in L.A. county who
cite “Actor” as their occupation. Of these 500,000 people,
175,000 or so belong to SAG/AFTRA, the professional actors’ union.
Of these 175,000 unionized actors, only about 8,000 make their living
exclusively from acting - probably fewer than that these days as more
and more movie stars commit to doing TV work so they can pay their
property taxes. This industry wide shift has pushed thousands of
actors on the lower rungs right off the ladder.
OW, OW, OW, no more math!
Okay, so you have a dream that is
shared by a great many people. The difference between having a dream
and having a dream job is action.
People want $24 million dollars a year
but they don't want to work for it.
Got Dreams? Get Real!
You don't earn that kind of money WHEN
you get the job. You earn that money BEFORE your first audition. You
earn the money and the fame WHILE you’re working hard in acting
school! Mastery of anything takes exactly 10,000 hours of correct,
deliberate, and progressive practice. Casting directors do not want
your first audition to be your first time acting. Your first time in
front of the camera in Hollywood should not be your first time in
front of a camera!
I've just given you the key to your
success: Find an acting school that provides 10,000 hours of correct,
deliberate, progressive practice. I’ve just eliminated 99% of the
acting schools in Los Angeles.
I know, that's math. But keep going.
The great 19th century French actor,
François-Joseph Talma said: “Acting has a 20 year apprenticeship."
If you practice only 20 hours a week you can cut that time in half.
40 hours a week and you can cut it in half again. If you have the
work ethic that James Franco exhibited in class, you may be able to
cut it in half once more. According to his teachers, Franco worked
like a maniac for years before he got a job. He threw himself into
acting, period. He got good at it and then went looking for work.
There is a staggeringly long line-up
outside of casting studios in L.A. made up of people who are not
prepared to do the work required to develop into truly good actors.
After interviewing scores of casting directors over the years, I have
learned that 75% to 90% of the people they audition have no business
being in the business.
If you have dreams you have to get real
about them!
Now, if you've been awarded an Olympic
gold medal or if you’ve been featured on the cover of Vogue or Time
Magazine - or if you date Justin or Katie, are a world-class rapper,
weight lifter, martial artist, or did something you shouldn’t have
done with the President of the United States, well then, Hollywood
has a deal waiting for you. Let’s face it. If you can get on the
cover of the National Enquirer with any frequency, you're just one
role from movie star status. If BatBoy ever comes out of his cave,
he'll see "When can you start?" painted on the side of the
limo that will inevitably be waiting for him.
If your looks are so striking that the
room goes quiet when you enter it, if your personality is so
sparkling that you make the Dos Equis guy look lame, if you are
sexually attractive and non-threatening to both sexes equally, if you
have emotional depth and range, spontaneous responsiveness, and a
limitless imagination, then you can skip all the hard work. The rest
of the world has to learn their craft.
If you already know a working producer
or director, that can definitely help. Nepotism is alive and well in
Hollywood. You would still have to prove yourself, but there are
certain connections that can give you an important advantage.
That said, regardless of your
connections, there’s no way to get around the need to work hard!
Scott Caan certainly benefited from the connections (and genetic
gifts) provided by his legendary father, James Caan. I watched Scott
work just as hard, or even harder than anyone else in his class when
he attended acting school, and I understand that he continues to
devote considerable energy to his own writing and theater projects.
Ashley Judd, as well, withstood a gauntlet of abuse in acting class.
She did not quit in the face of it but dedicated endless hours to the
practice of the fundamentals. According to Ashley, when her mother,
Naomi Judd, learned that her youngest wanted to be an actress, she
decried her daughter’s ambitions saying, “Oh, no … that’s
just being a faker. I don’t want you to live in lies.” When Naomi
came to audit Ashley’s class and saw what went into her training
(“I almost threw Mom out of class for having an open bottle of
fruit juice”) she cried, saying, “Ashley, I had it all wrong.
Acting isn’t about telling lies; it’s all about telling the
truth.” That’s when Naomi started throwing 110% of her weight
around to help support her daughter’s career.
Your opportunity to work hard will come
when you are in acting school; an acting school that provides 10,000
hours of training. You will also have to work at making yourself an
attraction. When your name alone sells tickets to 100+ seat theaters
in L.A. and your fanbase on YouTube/FaceBook/IMDB/Twitter is over
10,000, then you’ll know that you're on the right track!
NO! NO MORE MATH!
So, what does all this have to do with
NoHo?
In all likelihood, NoHo is where you’ll
live when you get started. In NoHo, you’ll be close to all of the
major studios and fairly close to most of the casting offices. I
recommend that you get started at Central Casting, a casting company
for background actors, which is located at 220 South Flower Street in
Burbank. After all, it’s a good idea to do some background work
first so that you can get some practical experience in a professional
movie shoot. Once you’ve gained some experience working on a few
sets, you’ll want to join the Union. In L.A., you won’t be
perceived as a professional actor unless you’re a member of
SAG/AFTRA. The SAG/AFTRA office is located adjacent to the La Brea
Tar Pits in Museum Square, at 5757 Santa Monica Blvd.
Most importantly, NoHo is cheap - by
L.A. standards anyway. In NoHo, there are some decent night spots,
relatively good restaurants, lots of little theaters where you can
see TV stars on stage, and at least a couple dozen acting schools.
There are just as many jobs in the San Fernando Valley (known locally
as “The Valley”) as there are anywhere in the rest of L.A., and
the landlords there are pretty flexible about three adults and a
cockatoo sharing a studio apartment.
Note: It can get unbearably HOT in the
Valley, where temperatures are always 10 to14 degrees warmer than
anywhere else in Los Angeles.
You really don't want to hear about the
NoHo of 20 years ago but it’s a pretty safe community today. There
are a few middle-to-upscale neighborhoods in NoHo that are very safe
if Mom and Dad are paying your way. Toluca Lake is a possibility for
those of you who need to have something bigger than a bungalow, and
if you want to be a stone’s throw away from Bob Hope and Roy
Disney. The farther North you travel on Lankershim Blvd, the cheaper
the accommodations. The ads will say that the property has a pool,
but a 25’x20’, 9-foot deep, concrete hole in the ground with 200
gallons of green sludge, a tricycle and a rusty barbecue sticking out
of the water, is not my idea of a pool.
You will need to find a 'SHIRT JOB'
that is flexible so that you can get time off for auditions.
Remember, you might have to drop the job the minute you're hired for
a feature film, but you’ll want to stay on good terms with the boss
so you can get it back when the studio’s done shooting. Also,
you'll want to do dozens of 'Shorts' on YouTube and the like, FOR
FREE! Those might take time away from your job as well.
Don't even think about coming to Los
Angeles to be an actor unless you have decided that you will
absolutely never, ever, quit. The schools you'll find in NoHo are
largely the kind that will take advantage of people who come to L.A.
to "give it a shot." Anyone who has it in his or her head
to give it three or six months “to see how it goes” will get the
kind of results one can expect from that kind of commitment.
American acting teacher Sanford Meisner
used to ask students, "Why do you want to be an actor?" If
they said they just knew they were supposed to be stars or that they
wanted to show all those kids back in (insert name of village here),
or any of a plethora of other rationalizations, he would smile
politely and send them elsewhere to study. If they stumbled and
mumbled and could not offer a single concrete reason for taking up
the study of acting, Sandy again would smile, knowing that he'd just
found an actor.

It's Offical when people blame you for their failures.. Feeling so Obama right now...
Post to Hawaii's Hip Hop Scene on Facebook:
In response to the a very atoned feeling that my truth full POV against the racist attitude by people in the State of Hawaii who perform Black Music that Iam keeping them from opportunity..
P.S I haven't even gotten nasty yet...
FIRST let me tell you, I wasn't raised by my Black Parents to be a 2nd, 3rd or anything but a FIRST class citizen, human being and Black Man. IDGAF where I am at or who you are. I don't plead with no one, for acceptance or will hinder myself to prove that I am a exceptional Human being. I've watched people follow men dogs wouldn't. I am a member of the, “African Diaspora”, which includes Hip Hop culture. No matter the place, I have every right to may opinions based on that fact. I am bounded by honor to speak up when I see wrong with my culture. THIS IS HIP HOP!!! If you have a problem with that then I suggest you do something else with your life. I don't see how I made anything “Difficult” for anybody... LOL... It wasn't like, there was all these positive collaborations done with other Hawaii Rappers, and then here I come say things and people fall off... They can say whatever they want here about WILD WILL.. Who do they know, who can cut a check for 7 digits after a pitch??? Who has gold and platinum albums hanging on their wall? Who has a MBA, B.S, B.A in the entertainment industry?? So do your homework and check who's advice you accepting, when they tell you so avoid someone.. LOL... How many times have they even left Hawaii to network in other cities in the last year? Are they even putting any money in your pocket? I see a lot of working wage jobs. Watch your friends and don't be left without a chair when the music stops. Go on and pass ALL the PROBLEMS, that have plagued this scene for years on to me... I am glad to accept my badge as a Black Man! What else is new? I found it a honor to be hater by so many for telling the truth and acting with the highest of integrity and purpose. I won't plead with anyone for acceptance, I only need to do that with Allah and only Allah can judge me. People need to just be honest about themselves, THEY DON”T WANT SUCCESS BAD ENOUGH or DON'T KNOW WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE! My will is so strong that my thinking is, “I won't let a asshole like WILD WILL stand in my way!!!” “Or some buster ass friends!” LOL
FOR THE RECORD I AM NOT WITH MAJAH LIFE
ANYMORE!!!
So hav at it!!! If you really about it,
be about it.. If you think you that good and can measure up show it.
Or else have a sit and kill all that pompous chest beating jazz... I
won't let anyone use me as a scape goat cause they don't have what it
takes...

One Chapters Closes Another Opens....
So that's it, I came I saw i conquered.. That's it that's all.. In the next 72 hours I will be leaving Hawaii for good... I got a lot of great stories with Females, to share with the homies. When I get home. You know what that might be the highlight of the whole three years, in Hawaii.. I can't say it was a total success, but it wasn't a total failure. I really wanted more of a success. I can't really complain through, I did have funny most of the time. I am leaving with some interesting footage that will just make my demo reel so competitive. I am not one to sit around and wait for the world I am in to catch up to me.. I have to stay a trend setter and move forward. My mother always reminds me, "One chapter closes another opens".. That's life! I've always been a short reader.. After it's all over I am looking forward to having a big laugh at it all... It has been one hell of a story.. If I was such a bitch nigga I would point out all the things I've done for others, House, Clothe and made Money for.. They are so dumb or just great pretenders not to really want to give credit where it's do.. I wouldn't think of people to be so stupid on purpose.. Then again who knows.. We really know the truth, I know the truth and that's all that matters.. In the end I define myself as a person and a man, not no one else. They would never matter, cause the whole world isn't a part of my life. I did learn two important things, that I am not going to share publicly.. You know what it made the trip worth it...

Is it time to move on???
So I've been asking myself... "Is it time to move on???" "Leave all this behind??" "Start a new brand??" I really been thinking about it, cause The Wild Will Show hasn't really be, all that it should have. Also I am older now and I not doing a whole lot of Wild Stuff right now. So I've been think about starting another brand and doing different things with it. Then again I have so much invested in The Wild Will Show, professionally, emotionally, finically. Then again, I am not really doing Wild type of films, that's not what I want to do... I was thinking, I can have the new company as mainstream and do bigger professional things and then keep The Wild Will Show as a underground film company. I really want to just get rid of it all together... You know it was a good experiment, but it's time to move on I feel.. Now that I know what works and doesn't. I hate to give up hope that this will take off, but then again I don't have much longer to wait and I know it's always been just a simple brand change that would change everything overnight. Don't ask me why but that's what it is... I already got a new name and a new scheme and everything.... I can just us The Wild Will Show as my back story and make all these clips just like parts of bigger projects of just a bunch of shorts. Right now I really feel like that's what I need to do. Maybe later I can resurrect, "The Wild Will Show!".. Right now the way things are, I need to start doing this like a business and in a business you have a project, you know what it cost to do that, you make a investment and then you publicize the product with a for purchase date. That's how that works... I was only doing 1/4 of that. I never even made it to the 3rd part. So now that I know what works and what to do and not to do...
