Feels good to be Recognized

I always thought that once I got recognized, it meant that I was making progress...

One thing I noticed in this entertainment industry, is that it's everyone outside of it who thinks they know what makes you recognized, as a Writer, Director, Producer, Actor, ect... They believe in awards, press, film festivals all that hype type of stuff. The insiders know, that's just fluff. Anyone can and they do, come along and claim that they are the ones behind or involved with said project. Most times they get taking at their word. The truth is, that doesn't really count.

When you finally get serious about this and people ask you to prove it, there's IMDB... Internet Movie Date base.

Recently I've had several new credits added to my brand, The Wild Will Show. I am so glad to be recognized for all the hard work I've put into my career.. It's growing everyday... You know people who don't have dreams of their own, try to shoot yours down. They act like you suppose to be some overnight success, to be relevant for them, while they are just simply nothing themselves. Then you have the others, who just think wasting years sitting around, waiting and doing nothing is really important... "Have at it", I tell them, cause the only thing that really counts is action. As I am recognized, that's what proves my action...

Production On "The Pharaoh Club" Part 2/3

What!!! She don't want to do the romantic scene... Well actually she did have a problem with it, just the way I need to have it done... Right now this really sucks cause I just finished casting and Iam ready shoot, but I am worried this bitch will fuck everything up by not showing up and then I am fucked... I so tried of these little fake actress bitches they think too much and do less action... It's annoying. I think the best bet is plan number two and that's replace her with someone else. Now the romantic scene is with me so I am thinking that's the real problem... Having everyone see her with some Black Man's hand on her ass... Come to find out, she rather go run around with a bunch of Niggas acting crazy, talking crazy and basically just trying to act black, but she don't love Black so she really acting Nigga... LOL... It's a damn shame, here she is in college and she wants to hang around Niggas... Like what can they teach her. They probably are teaching her a thing or two but fuck it I am through. So I just replace her with me new leading lady... She don't even know she's second best and I won't tell her.. LOL... She's going to do the damn thing that I need to make the story work, you got the part. I just wanna film is all, that's all I care about. Don't matter who, what, where I just need to get it done. So now we are back on schedule with the project. I called in the new girl, notified the old one she's out and we are doing our thing. I don't think she even cared.. It's kinder werid when you think about it, but that's what it is... These White chicks anywhere else but L.A are just whack... That's why they don't get any opportunties.... Whatever, I rather be spared the trouble... Ok time to get freaky... Ligths, Camera, Actions.....

Production On "The Pharaoh Club" Part 1/3

So it's been 2 years now that I've been in Hawaii working on film making... I must say it was a very rough road, but I finally got my first feature together. I wrote a script called, "The Pharaoh Club", it's a Boiler room, meets Wall Street with Aloha shirts type of film, done in the spirit of Clerks. I've been working on the script for the last 6 months and doing auditions which all went so, so. I was still trying to figure out how to get over the issue of the main shooting location, as I had a limited budget after spending money on a Final Cut pro editing system. I've been working on this concept called, "The Power of Intention", aka "The Law of Attraction" It was doing the pre production of a music video for a local band that it all came to me, just like that. When the owner of my office space, where I've been a customer now for at least a year, offered to exchange services with me. So in order words he was going to give me a office package and he would have my services as a in house Video Producer and consultant. Upon the offer I couldn't have agreed more and so we signed the contacts. This really help out a lot, it really did. Now with the need for a main location out of the way I was free to make my next move which would be to cast, schedule and produce the film.
